The Triumph platform, which is suspected of being fraudulent because it has caused up to Rp. 2.3 billion in losses to victims, has been reported to Police Criminal Investigation. an artist, Indra Bektiwas dragged into this case for being a Triumph brand ambassador.
The Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police’s Public Relations Division, Kombes Gatot Repli Handoko, said that his party had received the report. The Criminal Investigation Police also conducted an investigation.
“Still an investigation,” said Gatot when contacted, Sunday (27/3/2022).
Gatot explained that the case was handled by the Directorate of Special Economic Crimes (Dittipideksus) Bareskrim. Billy said he would provide further developments.
“Excuse me. Everything goes to Eksus. When the investigation is complete, we will inform you,” he said.
Previously, victims of fraudulent investments went to the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police to make a report. Their reports are received with the number STTL/084/III/BARESKRIM.
The reporter was a man named Mochammad Ikram Adriansyah Tumiwang. He became the representative of 20 Triumph victims with a total loss of Rp 2.3 billion.
Indra Bekti was also involved in this case. The reason is, the presenter becomes the brand ambassador of the Triumph platform by promoting it.
“He as the brand ambassador mentioned several advantages of using the Triumph application,” said one of the victims named Nandang at the National Police Criminal Investigation Unit.
Several times the victims saw Indra Bekti participate in every Triumph agenda. However, the victim did not know whether Indra Bekti knew more about the investment.
“Judging from several seminars, he was present. Indeed, there is a seminar usually held by Triumph for promotional activities. It involves the artist’s brand ambassador with the initials IB,” explained Nandang.
