Bareskrim Ignore the Letter of Revocation of the Kace Report: It’s Useless If Forced

Bareskrim Polri revealed Muhammad Kece alias Kace was forced by Inspector General Napoleon Bonaparte to sign a letter withdrawing the report on the alleged abuse case. Kabareskrim Komjen Agus Andrianto said his party would ignore the letter.

“We ignore if forced,” Agus told reporters, Saturday (9/10/2021).

Agus explained that the letter of revocation of the report had no meaning even though it was signed by Kace. The reason, Kace was forced to sign the letter.

“If you force it, it’s no use,” he said.

Previously, a letter of revocation of a report allegedly written by Kace was circulated addressed to the Director of General Crimes (Dirtipidum) of the National Police Criminal Investigation Department Brigadier General Andi Rian Djajadi. In the letter, Kace requested that his report to the reported abuse case, Inspector General Napoleon, be withdrawn.

Brigadier General Andi opened his voice regarding the circulation of the letter revocation of the report. Andi said the letter was not written by Kace, but by other prisoners on the orders of Inspector General Napoleon.

“It was not made by the victim of the Constitutional Court (Muhammad Kace), but by one of the suspects on the orders of NB (Napoleon Bonaparte),” Andi said when contacted, Saturday (9/10).

Andi emphasized that Kace had never withdrawn his report. Moreover, the letter in circulation was not written by Kace directly. Kace was forced by Inspector General Napoleon to sign the letter.

“It’s not a legal or illegal issue. The victim has never withdrawn the report. The victim was asked to sign,” he said.
