Police Criminal Investigation arrested two suspects robot trading DNA Pro. The two suspects are the Founder of the Octopus Team, Jerry Gunandar, and the Co-Founder of the Octopus Team, Stefanus Richard.
“Both of them were arrested on April 8-9, 2022. They have a downline turnover of more than USD 22,000,000 or Rp. 330 billion,” said Director of Special Economic Crimes at the National Police Criminal Investigation Agency, Brigadier General Whisnu Hermawan, to reporters, Saturday (9/4/2020). 2022).
Whisnu said the investigation team had carried out the development of the DNA Pro trading robot case after arresting the Co-Founde of Tin Rudutz, Rovvy Setiadi, who is also a suspect. From the results of the interrogation, investigators received clues to the whereabouts of Jerry and Stefanus.
“Investigators have received clues about the whereabouts of Jerry Gunandar and Stefanus Richard,” he said.
Whisnu said the two DPOs were arrested at a five-star hotel in the South Jakarta (South Jakarta) area on Friday (8/4) at 22.30 WIB. The two were then taken to the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police.
“The investigative team managed to locate the hiding place for Jerry Gunandar and Stefanus Richard, which is in a five-star hotel in South Jakarta and immediately arrested the two suspects, then brought them to the office for examination,” he said.
Whisnu said investigators would track the assets of the suspects. Currently both have been detained.
“Investigators have detained the suspect Jerry Gunandar and the suspect Stefanus Richard. Investigators will continue to develop the other suspects and together with PPATK carry out asset tracing,” he said.
Previously, the National Police Bareskim named nine people as suspects. Of the nine, five of them are DPOs.
“We have arrested four suspects, namely R, RS, Y, and F. We are investigating, which hopefully we will reveal and arrest the perpetrators in the near future,” explained Whisnu.
The police said that a number of public figures would later be examined for investigation purposes in this case. However, it is not known who the public figures in question are.
