Of course, zombies (“Living Dead” or product butterfly) will never cease to show the insignificance of their existence on earth. Let them dig their graves by seeing everything in black and criticizing whether it is there or not.
It is certain that March 8, in the beginning, was dedicated to the fundamental rights of women. These include: the right to live without violence and discrimination; the right to the highest standard of physical and mental health; the right to education; property rights; the right to vote and the right to equal pay for all.
Admittedly, in many countries, some of these rights are still not respected.
However, this does not prevent, even for one day, the Malagasy women in Madagascar, from exercising their right to laugh and smile freely and with dignity. These pictures were taken at the Barea Mahamasina square where the women from the 23 regions of the largest island in the Indian Ocean gathered.
It is true that everyday life is not funny at all – in other places it is even worse but nobody talks about it in Madagascar-. But at least for a while, grandmothers, mothers, sisters, cousins, friends and acquaintances, famous strangers in general, can share that “private human laugh” (“Laughter is the essence of Man -meaning human kind-“).
Barea Mahamasina Stadium, March 08, 2023. The right to laugh and smile with honesty and dignity
Decidedly, the zombies will never cease to demonstrate the uselessness of their pathetic existence on earth. Let them dig their graves by dint of seeing everything in black and criticizing all the time for a yes or a no.
Certainly, March 8, at the start, is dedicated to the fundamental rights of women. These are: the right to live free from violence and discrimination; the right to the highest attainable standard of physical and mental health; the right to education; the right to property; the right to vote and the right to equal pay.
Admittedly, in many countries, still, some of these rights are not effective. But that will not prevent, even if it is only for a day, the Malagasy women of Madagascar, from using their right to laugh and smile in all honesty and with dignity. Here are some shots taken at the Barea stadium in Mahamasina where women from the 23 regions of the Big Island in the Indian Ocean gathered.
Certainly, everyday life is not funny at all -elsewhere it’s worse but nobody touches a word about it here-. But at least, for a moment, these Malagasy grandmothers, mothers, sisters, cousins, friends and acquaintances, illustrious strangers for the most part, will have shared this laugh which is specific to… Man (the Human race).

Certainly, March 8, at the start, is dedicated to the fundamental rights of women. It’s about right to live free from violence and discrimination; of right the highest attainable state of physical and mental health; of right to education; of right to the property; of right to vote and right at equal pay.
Admittedly, still, in many countries, still, some of these rights are not effective. Certainly, finally, everyday life is not funny at all – elsewhere it’s worse but nobody touches a word about it here. But at least, for a moment, these Malagasy grandmothers, mothers, sisters, cousins, friends and acquaintances, illustrious strangers for the most part, will have shared this laughter which is specific to… Man (the human race ).
