Barcelona player Paul Martin “Gavi” leads the world ranking of the most promising players, issued by the International Center for Sports Studies.
Spanish international Pablo Martin “Gavi”, Barcelona midfielder, topped the world ranking of the 200 most promising young players in the list of the Football Observatory of the International Center for Sports Studies “CIES”.
The 18-year-old topped the list, ahead of Englishman Judd Bellingham (Borussia Dortmund) and Brazilian Marcos Leonardo (Santos).
To prepare this ranking, the observatory takes into account the minutes played by each young man in official matches during the last 365 days, the athletic level presented in the matches, as well as the results.
The list also included the Moroccan player Bilal Al-Khanous, who plays for the Belgian Genk, and Alejandro Balde, the left-back in Barcelona.
