I share in Las Fotos de los Lectores de La Vanguardia this snapshot that portrays the sunset from the new Dic de Recer of the Port Olímpic, whose renovation allows us to capture a new sunset in Barcelona.
Since Dec. Recer a new trend has been seen skyline from the new walkways of the stairs leading to the dock, which provide a unique perspective.
In this way, we can distinguish the Parc de Recerca Biomèdica building, the Peix d’Or Frank Gehry, the Torre Hotel Arts, the Torre Mapfre and the Torre Glòries, while the anchored boats give us a feeling of calm, as if time had stopped.
The improvement of the Decree It is considered a key action to ensure the correct functionality of the Olympic Port and its comprehensive security.
It had been observed that the easterly storms of recent years had caused deterioration in the four submerged dikes, so they have been renovated with a new dike lined with 2,000 concrete blocks weighing 25 tons each.
