Barcelona Wins Thrilling UEFA Women’s Champions League Final Against Wolfsburg

Barcelona won the UEFA Women’s Champions League for the second time in three years, coming from two goals down to beat Wolfsburg 3-2 in a thrilling final in Eindhoven today. Swedish defender Fridolina Rulfo scored the winning goal for Barcelona from close range in the 70th minute, completing a stunning uprising after falling behind by two goals.

Barcelona started the second half with full force and scored twice in the first five minutes through Patricia Guijarro. Polish striker Eva Bayor advanced with a goal for Wolfsburg in the third minute, then made the second goal with a cross pass to her colleague Alexandra Pope in the 37th minute.
