BARCELONA, 10 Oct. (EUROPA PRESS) –
From 16 to 18 November Barcelona will host the 13th edition of the European Congress on Breast Cancer (# EBCC13), considered the most important congress in the world in this field after the United States.
The congress, which will be held again in person after the coronavirus pandemic, is “the only meeting on the continent” that involves major breast cancer actors and allows for interaction between scientists, doctors and patient representatives, was reported to Congress this Monday in a statement.
The event will address the latest advances in scientific research and also in ethical, social, political and practical issues associated with the care of patients with the disease.
Specifically, the impact of lifestyle on breast cancer, the detection and treatment of the disease, the use of artificial intelligence in patient care, immunotherapy, epidemiology and its outcomes and genetics of the disease.
EBCC13 is expected to bring together around 1,500 delegates from 90 countries and the opening conference in English will be held on 15 November and in Spanish on 16 November.
