Barcelona vs PSG – Champions League Pique and Braithwaite train, Araujo absent
Barcelona trained on Monday morning ahead of their Champions League last 16 meeting with Paris Saint Germain on Tuesday.
Both Martin Braithwaite and Gerard Pique trained with their teammates, handing Ronald Koeman a boost ahead of the game against the French champions.
The Dane had missed both games against Sevilla and Alaves with injury, but completed the session on Monday, suggesting he will be available to feature at the Camp Nou.
Pique also trained normally and was smiling throughout the session. Excluding any late setbacks, the Catalan should be on the list of players called up for the squad after Tuesday morning’s session. He has been out since a knee injury suffered in November.
Ronald araujo didn’t train, though, and his condition will be monitored again on Tuesday morning before a decision is taken regarding his inclusion on Tuesday.
Coming into the season’s decisive stage, the Catalans will be relieved to have Pique and Braithwaite contending for a place in the team again.
