Effort Barcelona take off Miralem Pjanic face resistance from the player. Barcelona is reportedly ready to take decisive steps if the situation continues.
Barcelona is experiencing financial problems and needs to do laundry to reduce the salary burden. Pjanic is one of the players who will be released this summer.
According to reports SportSo far, Barcelona have received loan offers for Pjanic from AS Roma, Inter Milan and Juventus. However, Pjanic must be willing to cut his salary so that the transfer can be realized.
Pjanic has a fee of 6.5 million euros per season. Reportedly, the Bosnia & Herzegovina international midfielder refused a pay cut, making it difficult for Barcelona to realize the transfer.
If this condition continues, Barcelona has decided to take decisive steps if necessary. Barcelona hopes to resolve Pjanic’s problem at the latest next week.
In talks with Barcelona, Pjanic claimed only wanted to return to Italy. However, the 31-year-old midfielder is reluctant to get paid less than what he got at Barcelona.
Pjanic only joined Barcelona in the summer of 2020. He moved to Camp Nou in a swap deal involving Arthur Melo.
During one season strengthening the Blaugrana, Miralem Pjanic rarely become Ronald Koeman’s first choice. Over the course of last season, he made 30 appearances in all competitions and did not contribute any goals or assists.
