A traffic accident on Wednesday particularly moved the Barcelona biker community. The video made it possible to identify the perpetrator who will be prosecuted.
The video has gone viral and will have serious consequences for the perpetrator. On the images, we see a taxi coming to cut the road on purpose to a motorcycle whose passenger was a minor. If no serious injuries were recorded, the rider and the child ended up on the ground under their scooter.
“A moron who has no excuse”
Seen hundreds of thousands of times, the video identified the perpetrator, a taxi from the Elite company who decided to join the complaint against her driver whom she described as a “moron”. “We strongly condemn this fact. It is an inappropriate procedure on the part of any driver, and even more so on the part of a professional driving,” the company said in a statement, which reiterated that it did not there is no “excuse or mitigation” that justifies the facts.
According to witnesses, the tension would have risen as is often the case in the streets of Barcelona. The biker allegedly repeatedly hit the taxi and insulting the driver. The latter then got carried away by causing this accident which could cost him dearly, the Guarda Urbana having succeeded in identifying him.
