Barcelona officially cut all ties with Sevilla. This step was taken after The Basins denounce The cules in the indictment kasus Negreira.

The hot tension between the two teams was not only felt in the middle of the match. Off the field, Barcelona and Sevilla exchanged ‘war’ releases criticizing each other.
Sevilla initially made a statement condemning involvement Barcelona in Negreira’s case. Barca accused by judge of bribing former vice president of the Referees Committee, Jose Maria Enriquez Negreira7.5 million euros over the period 2001-2018.

“We would like to express our deepest respect to Barcelona members and season ticket holders, as well as to their current employees and officials who work every day at Barcelona and who are indirectly involved in this matter,” he explained.
Barcelona is furious with Sevilla’s statement which is considered to ignore the presumption of innocence. The cules considered it an attack from The Basins to his team.
“FC Barcelona would like to publicly express its condemnation of the unjustified and inappropriate attack of Sevilla FC after the club today refused to attend an institutional lunch among directors before today’s match between the two teams at the Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys [Barcelona]whose representatives have also refused to take their places in the VIP stands,” Barcelona said in a club statement.
Not only that, Barcelona also announced it was cutting ties with Sevilla. Relations between the two clubs can only be re-established if Sevilla apologizes and shows good intentions towards Barca.
“FC Barcelona believes this is an attack on Catalan institutions and is an unacceptable violation. Therefore, Sevilla FC’s position seems illogical considering that on the one hand they ignore the principle of presumption of innocence and on the other hand deny FC Barcelona the right to defend themselves in legal proceedings that are currently ongoing.”
“Given this unacceptable and unjustifiable position of Sevilla FC, FC Barcelona believes that all institutional ties with the institutions of Sevilla have been severed until their current position is corrected,” read the official statement. Barcelona.
