The wait is over. Universitario de Deportes met its rival in Phase 2 of the Copa Libertadores. The cream team will face Barcelona SC from Ecuador, a team that eliminated Montevideo City Torque in the penalty shootout.
Universitario will make its debut in the Copa Libertadores on a visit and close the key at home. The first game will be played next Wednesday, February 23 at the Monumental Isidro Romero Carbo stadium in Guayaquil, starting at 7:30 p.m.
The return match between Universitario vs Barcelona SC will be played on Wednesday, March 2 at the Monumental de Ate stadium.
