Barely a week left until Barcelona Rock Fest start next June 30th the long-awaited new edition that the pandemic forced, as in so many other cases, to postpone until this year 2022, in which names such as those of Kiss, Judas Priest, Alice Cooper o Manowar shine at the top of a spectacular billboard, on which recently published a statement which especially affects the band of Joey DeMaiofor which the festival claims to continue fighting so that there are no last-minute problems that prevent their performance as headliners on the first day.

The festival networks have made public how complex the situation is, ensuring that at this time “strange as it may seem” Manowar’s performance is not guaranteed, although the group itself has it long confirmed on its official websiteso they continue working in order to have all the guarantees “no last minute demands” to be able to close “a contract with clear, understandable terms and without errors that assure us of their performance”.

In the statement, the festival announces that day tickets for this day on Thursday, June 30, will go on sale next June 25th via www.barcelonarockfest.com y www.seetickets.com. For his part, Manowar has responded with another statement in which they show their desire to meet again with the fans in our country and their willingness so that, without last minute changes, the agreement is fulfilled so that Barcelona Rock Fest has the long-awaited performance on its opening day.

More novelties that have been announced by Barcelona Rock Fest have been the incorporation of Crisix to the poster on the day of friday july 1, to those who assure that more bands will be added very soon; the low of My Dying Bride after the cancellation of his European tour, and thanks to Jinjer for the effort made to be able to participate in the festival on the 30th as Ukraine’s ambassadors of peace, showing their support and a firm “no to war”.
