Blaugrana prevailed in a duel that featured many new faces and some tension.
In the early hours of this Sunday, Barcelona defeated Real Madrid (1-0), in a friendly played in Las Vegas that featured many new faces in both teams. With the presence of reinforcements Antonio Rudiger and Tchouaméni on the side of the Merengues, and Christensen, Lewandowski, Kessié and Raphinha on the Blaugrana, it ended up being the latter, a Brazilian winger who represented V. Guimarães and Sporting in Portugal, to score the only goal – and what a goal – from the start, on the 27th minute. The duel, a pre-season ‘El Clásico’, also featured a focus of tension before the break: Jordi Alba played a less friendly challenge on Vinicius Jr., who immediately inflamed the spirits and created some confusion among the two teams.
Real Madrid and Barcelona both return to the field on Wednesday, the 27th. The Merengues face América de México, while the Blaugrana face Juventus.
