A new option has emerged for Costa Rican goalkeeper Keylor Navas. The injury of German goalkeeper Marc André Ter Stegen, from FC Barcelonaopens the door for the Central American and historic Real Madrid goalkeeper to sign with the hated rival.
The Blaugranas could sign a goalkeeper on a free transfer to replace Ter Stegen, among them the Costa Rican goalkeeper, who finished his contract with PSG in the summer, but was unable to sign with any club during the transfer market.
Navas wants to return to the pitch and his options have been reduced to accepting to play with Madrid’s arch-rivals, the United Arab Emirates league or waiting until December and signing with another team during the winter transfer market.
Navas’ inactivity
During the last season in France he played only 540 minutes in 6 games, in all competitions, a situation that led him to not renew his contract with the team managed by Luis Enrique, who did not have the Central American in his plans.
