While the Catalan press understands that the management of FC Barcelona has abandoned the idea of extending the contract of Frenchman Ousmane Dembélé, three major European clubs are currently in competition to attract the world champion.
Even if time is running out, yet another twist in the Ousmane Dembélé case cannot be ruled out before midnight on Monday evening. The FC Barcelona winger, whose current lease ends next June, could leave Catalonia if an offer of 20 million euros arrives on Joan Laporta’s desk and the player agrees to change air.
According to daily information Sport, three clubs would still be in competition to attract Dembélé this winter, namely Chelsea, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain. In the French capital, however, this option is not unanimous due to the player’s numerous injuries in recent years. Leonardo nevertheless sees it as a real market opportunity and a possible replacement for Kylian Mbappé.
