Danish singer and songwriter Barbara Moleko (36) has experienced some of the worst things that can be experienced in a young love. She now she talks about it in a new episode of the 24syv podcast “112 for broken hearts”. The Danes write it BT
In the podcast, she recalls an accident with her then-boyfriend, which she had when she was 17. They went to college and were at a party, but when Moleko arrived at the party, another girl would be sitting on her boyfriend’s lap.

She watched what was happening from afar, a little confused, before they suddenly started kissing.
– I remember running to my room and crying, says the singer.
She would try to talk to him, but he just ignored her. She finally she decided to go to her room and knock. She wasn’t alone in there, though: the girl he’d kissed was already sitting in his room.
– Then it occurs to me that this has already happened. It was as if a wave of sadness, failure and anger washed over me, she says.
Arrested for “prostitution confusion”
Moleko was right. The one who had now become her ex-boyfriend admitted that he had been with the other girl a couple of times and was in love with her.
Heartbreak was a given and the artist struggled to get through last time in college. It probably wasn’t easy to see her ex-boyfriend with his new love in the halls every day, but for Moleko, it all peaked towards the end of the school year.
She had volunteered to stay and clean the dorm. So did the ex-boyfriend and the other girl, who chose to do the laundry in Moleko’s neighboring room. Suddenly she could hear them having sex.
– I heard them scream. At this point, a month and a half had passed since the breakup and I was absolutely devastated, but that was just the last nail in the coffin. I was cursed, he says on the podcast.
