There are moments in life that mark deeply, there are memories that it is impossible to erase and wounds that will never heal. Certain griefs change everyday life and are impossible to truly elaborate fully. Barbara D’Urso knows it well, who lost her mother when she was only a child.
He has few memories of his mother, Barbara D’Urso, but he keeps them tight to his heart. And among these there are some deeply painful, which can never be removed. It was August 23, 1968 when Vera Pentimalli left her family forever, due to an illness which, at the time, was incurable and which she fought for 4 years before surrendering to the inevitable.
He was only 40 years old and D’Urso was just a girl of about 11, unaware of what life would have in store for her. In those days, he had to face something extremely difficult and learn the news that no child would ever want to hear.

These are the captions with which he accompanied a beautiful black and white photo posted on Instagram. These are the words that the presenter heard that painful day, the saddest of all for her. The image published by D’Urso portrays her, still very small, together with the smiling mother and it is perhaps one of the few memories he has, together with the faith of the woman he never separates from.
After the death of her mother, the life of Barbara D’Urso it went on. Her father Rodolfo remarried another woman, Wanda, who was like a second mother for her. The path of the presenter, then, is known to all: with dedication she dedicated herself to her career and her children, reaching the hearts of a large part of the Italian public.
Behind her smiles, her enthusiasm, the passion for her work and the charge she transmits every time it is on the air, however, there is always the memory of her mother, that will never abandon it.
