These rumors come from a major South African video game retailer called BT Games. A popular retailer has put the Mortal Kombat 1 Collector’s Edition on sale. As a pre-order bonus, customers will receive an exclusive balaclava in addition to a copy of the game and other merchandise. The design of the balaclava resembles the look of Baraka from Mortal Kombat.
The Balaclava resembles the design of Baraka and thus indicates that this character will be part of Mortal Kombat 1. Also, his presence in the game is practically confirmed given that the upcoming fighting game is set in a retrograde universe.
On the other hand, some fans believe that the balaclava may simply refer to Mileena, who is another prominent character in the Mortal Kombat series known for her distinctive face design.
