Libreville, Monday April 24, 2023 (Info Gabon) –The Council of State decided to cancel the chairman following an appeal by certain members of the Bar Association.
Promoted to the head of the Gabonese Bar during an elective general meeting held last January, Raymond Obame Sima has just had his election annulled by the Council of State. This decision follows a request from some members of the Bar Association of Gabon who denounce the fact that the new president does not meet all the conditions required to occupy this position. The applicants argue that Mr. Obame Sima has not yet completed 10 years on the big board of the Bar Association. The plaintiffs thus won their case.
