These 10,474 people “represent 4.5% of the population of age to donate in the region covered by the French Blood Establishment of Nancy”, that is to say the Ardennes, Aube, Marne, Haute-Marne, Meurthe-et-Moselle, Meuse, Moselle and Vosges, which is 2,438,258.

This figure of 10,474 “presented” corresponds to “10,474 donations, with some people giving several times a year. They are counted each time, ”explains Sylvie Malfait-Benni.
