The Taschenbergpalais was built in the 18th century by the Saxon Elector Augustus the Strong for his beloved Countess von Cosel. Destroyed in World War II and rebuilt in 1995, it now combines historical splendor and contemporary elegance.
The Palais am Taschenberg has 182 rooms and 31 suites and offers culinary excellence in five very different and unique restaurants, cafés and bars. In addition to a spa lounge, there are six conference rooms of different sizes with a fantastic view of Dresden’s old town. We welcome our guests to balls and gala dinners in our Kurfürstensaal.
