The teams also played against each other in the group stage. Then the Netherlands won 3-1 against France. In the final, however, the roles were reversed. France started the game strongly and hit the aluminum twice within ten minutes. Striker Mathys Tel already shot a free kick on the post in the third minute. Not much later, Tom Saettel also hit the post from a distance. Unfortunately, the Netherlands had little to say against that and therefore luckily rested 0-0.
Banzuzi unfortunately remained on the bench for the entire game, but saw that the Netherlands started better in the second half. Slory scored in the 48th minute to give the Netherlands a 1-0 lead. Then France came in and scored twice in quick succession through right-back Kumbedi. After a small final offensive and an offside goal, the Orange was unfortunately unable to make a fist. Orange lost the final 2-1.
