Paliyem, a resident of Padukuhan Paten, Kalurahan Srihardono, Kapanewon Pundong firmly reported back his son, Dwi Rahayu Saputro (24) to the Bantul Police on Friday (11/2/2022) evening. Dwi was previously involved in a family theft case where he sold various kinds of furniture, from cupboards, tables and chairs to doors. OUT of Paliyem’s compassion, the case was dismissed after Paliyem withdrew her report in early January.

State Prosecutor’s Office (Kejari) Bantul has already submitted a letter of decision to terminate the prosecution to Paliyem on 24 January 2022.

However, as it turned out, Paliyem’s hope for her son to repent was dashed.

Dwi again repeats his actions selling furniture.

“He said he didn’t want to do it again, how come it was repeated again, I’m afraid it’s like this,” he said when met at the Polres Bantul.

According to him, on January 14, he found a stove given by the Regent Bantul no longer in place.

Meanwhile at the door was a note from his son saying that Dwi had brought his stove.

Then on Sunday, February 6, 2022, a set of tables and chairs belonging to Paliyem was gone.

Finally, on Thursday (10/2/2022) yesterday evening, Paliyem’s neighbors found Dwi carrying a cupboard to a pickup.
