Bantrab recognizes the work of the U-20 National Team

With the aim of paying tribute to the effort, dedication and hard work of the Sub-20, the Bantrab Financial Group held a ceremony in which they were awarded the 2023 Worker Award. This recognition is a unique replica of the Worker’s Monument, created by Guatemalan sculptor Rafael Yela Günter.

Accompanied by family members, representatives of FEDEFUT, sports clubs sponsored by Bantrab, among others, the selected youngsters were honored by an audience they inspire. Likewise, they learned about the new Mi Selección Debit Card, which has a special edition design, as a show of support for the National Soccer Team.

According to Herbert Hernández, General Manager of Bantrab, this card is a tribute to the constant effort made by soccer players in search of the best results. Furthermore, he added that: “It is a tool created to allow Guatemalans to support national soccer more closely, through unique experiences and benefits.”

One of the axes of the Social Pillar and Development of the Financial Group’s Well-being Strategy is support for sport. For this reason, during the ceremony, the members of the Sub-17 received a recognition medal. Tribute to the commitment, passion shown in their search for a pass to the Soccer World Cup, in their category.
