Banten –
High Prosecutor Banten named four suspects in the vehicle tax evasion case at the Kelapa Dua Tangerang Samsat. What’s the mode like?
“BBN (tax on transfer of name) one was manipulated into BBN 2, which was previously a new car converted into a used car (tax),” said Kajati Banten Leonard Eben Ezer Simandjuntak to reporters, Serang, Friday (22/4/2022).
The four suspects, said Kajati, are Zulfikar, Head of Collection and Deposits; Ahmad Prio, Samsat civil servant; M Bagja Ilham, honorary; and Budiono, as an application maker for tax evasion. They agreed to meet and initiate vehicle tax evasion in the Samsat area.
“Initially, there was a meeting that we called a malicious conspiracy initiated by Z as the Head of Collection for the UPTD Samsat Kelapa Dua,” Leonard said.
They reached an agreement in April 2021 and carried out embezzlement since June 2021. The order to start manipulating this was carried out by the suspect Zulfikar.
“Ordering the MBI suspect to start doing this in a new way, the method is how BBN one is manipulated into BBN 2,” he added.
The suspect, M Bagja, in his action collected the taxpayer filing files. He then chooses which one has a large value and then his deposit is embezzled. The process was carried out together with Zulfikar and ordered his staff suspect Ahmad.
Ahmad then made a tax assessment which was processed in the application until the tax assessment was issued. From there, it was deposited into Bank Banten and then M Bagja ordered Budiono to manipulate the application.
“This B is not in Samsat but outside, because this is the former who made the application he was given passwordFinally, suspect B changed the previous determination, for example, Rp. 5 million was reduced to a used car,” he said.
After the decision was issued, Bagja returned to Bank Banten to change the tax rate and withdrew the money and handed it over to Zulfikar.
“MBI to the bank again withdrew the money and then handed it over to Z and handed it over to the suspect AP for collection,” he explained.
