Banque Misr announced the first death from the new Corona Virus, today, Saturday, 6 June 2020, who is the assistant general manager of the International Transactions Branch, and who passed away at the age of sixty years due to the complications of infection with the new Corona virus (COVID _19) in a hospital, where He was subject to quarantine and medical care as soon as he experienced symptoms and his last working day was May 21, 2020.
The colleague started his career as a banker in the Cairo branch, which spanned more than 35 years of giving and dedication to work, and concluded it with the position of assistant general manager in the International Transactions Branch.
Moreover, Banque Misr stresses that the safety and health of everyone is at the forefront of its concerns and priorities, and the bank has been keen since the beginning of the crisis and before the emergence of any cases of infection to follow all instructions of the Ministry of Health professionally and professionally, while taking all preventive and precautionary measures to confront the emerging Corona virus at all levels; Clients, workers, and workplaces, by sterilizing workplaces periodically and by providing antiseptics and protective masks for employees, as well as following up cases of workers who feel symptoms and other related procedures.
