The iconic artwork ‘Girl with Balloon’ is being re-sold. Banksy’s painting self-destructed just after it sold for a mere 1.2 million euros in October 2018. Three years after the artwork made history, it is being auctioned again at Sotheby’s in London.

Experts estimate that the artwork, which was renamed ‘Love is in the Bin’, could now yield a lot more. “It is now one of the most famous works of art in the world,” Sotheby’s said. That is why it will first be exhibited in the auction house itself, after which it will travel around the world. It will return to London in October, after which sales will begin.
