This came while the founder of the University College of Bahrain, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, received the CEO of the Bahrain Association of Banks, Waheed Al Qassim. Sheikh Khalid expressed his thanks for the initiative of the Bahrain Association of Banks to communicate with the university and its keenness to open areas of cooperation, stressing that this type of initiative It enhances education and training opportunities for students and strengthens professional ties between the university and the banking sector. He added that this initiative will provide valuable opportunities for students to learn about the banking sector through training programs, lectures, and job opportunities. For his part, Al-Qassim stressed the association’s keenness to provide students with the most important experiences and necessary guidance. To increase their awareness of the importance of financial and banking studies, he said, “The association seeks to provide university students with the opportunity for practical experience and simulation in banks to serve as a live opportunity to actually practice banking work, and to integrate more Bahraini elements into the two sectors, which contributes to enhancing the presence of the Bahraini human element in various sectors.” Bahraini banking sectors, at all levels, including senior management.
