According to Tamil media, Sivakarthikeyan paid Rs 3 crore as compensation to the distributors. Apart from that, three crores were also given to Sri Venkateswara Studios, the production company of the film.

Prince was released on October 21 last year. Released simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu, Prince tells the story of a love story between an Indian boy and a British girl. Ukrainian actress Maria Ryaboshapka played the heroine in the film. Prince is directed by Anudeep KV. Previously, there were reports that the film has earned around Rs 100 crore as a pre-release asset. Sathyaraj and Prenggi Amaran also starred in the film. He was the music.
