Building Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino closed in 2014. The business was first opened by Trump in 1984.
After the bankruptcy and closure, several parts of the building fell. This endangers pedestrians near the building.
In June 2020, the local mayor announced that he would demolish the Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino building. The local government did not yet know what the land would be used for after demolishing the building.
In 2014, Trump filed a lawsuit to remove his name from the building’s facade. The lawsuit was made because it could have a negative impact on Trump’s name and brand.
