Unfortunately, we will soon witness changes in the banking system that customers will certainly not be happy with. Banks are planning to increase fees for withdrawing money, and the amount of these fees can reach up to PLN 10.

PKO BP introduces changes.

If we use Blik, we will not pay anything.

The website also informs that in PKO BP “the account will be kept free of charge. Card service will be charged (PLN 10). This fee will be waived if we make 5 card or Blik transactions in a month.

It is worth noting, however, that withdrawals from PKO ATMs will be free of charge. We will pay for withdrawals using other ATMs.

Serious failure in a well-known bank

Many Internet users informed the media that they could not make online transfers on Monday. There were also problems with transactions using the Blik system. Nest Bank confirmed in the evening announcement that such problems actually occurred.

The following day, the bank announced in a statement:We’ve resolved the technical issues. You can now use BLIK and make online transfers. All transactions ordered for execution on May 8, 2023. should be carried out on May 9, 2023 or in accordance with the instruction”

Application for bankruptcy of Getin Noble Bank

Another important message from the banking system is the information that on April 28, the Bank Guarantee Fund filed a petition to the court to declare Getin Noble Bank bankrupt.

For GNB customers, however, nothing changes.
