Bank robbery in Köniz BE – New pictures of the perpetrator

The investigation into a bank robbery in Köniz in July 2020 is ongoing. There were indications of a connection with two other robberies. Now new pictures of the perpetrator are published.

The investigations into a bank robbery that was carried out on Monday, July 6th, 2020, shortly after 2.30 p.m., on the Valiant Bank on Schwarzenburgstrasse in Köniz (see reports of July 6th and July 9th, 2020) are still ongoing at.

As part of the extensive investigation headed by the Regional Public Prosecutor’s Office in Bern-Mittelland, existing images were evaluated, among other things. There were indications that the perpetrator could also be considered for two further armed robberies on a bank in Muri (see call for witnesses on September 15, 2020) and a bank in Belp (see call for witnesses on October 23, 2020).

In this context, witnesses are still being sought and new pictures of the perpetrator are being published. The man is between 180 and 190 cm tall and has a noticeably protruding skin change on the left neck.
