Bank records shared: Corruption accusation against Biden family

The US House of Representatives Committee accused President Joe Biden’s family of corruption.

According to a press release from the US House Oversight and Accountability Committee, Committee Chairman James Comer shared bank records showing Owasco PC making monthly payments to President Biden.

The Committee, which has identified at least 20 shell companies so far, found that the Biden family earned more than 24 million dollars between 2015 and 2019 by using Joe Biden as a “brand”.

The committee determined that Owasco PC received payments from Chinese state-linked companies.

After the bank records in question were shared, James Comer requested the court to access the personal and business bank accounts of Hunter and his uncle James Biden.

Stating that there is a “wall” between his duty in the government and the behavior of his family, Comer accused the US President of lying and claimed that the Biden family received money from China.

Comer said, “President Joe Biden said he did not discuss his family’s illegal business dealings with his son Hunter Biden. This is a lie. Hunter Biden’s lawyers and the White House’s media allies claimed that Hunter’s companies did not make direct payments to Joe Biden.” “We can officially add this to their list of lies.” said.

Claiming that the Ministry of Justice tried to prevent officials involved in the investigation from being asked questions about Joe Biden, Comer accused the ministry of trying to cover up the crimes of the Biden family.

Comer said, “While Joe Biden was vice president, he talked on the phone, drank coffee and attended dinners with his son’s business collaborators. Joe Biden and his family should be held responsible for the corruption they committed.” he said.

COURT SUMMONS SENT TO HUNTER BIDEN

On November 8, the Republican-majority House of Representatives Oversight and Accountability Committee called US President Joe Biden’s son Hunter Biden and his brother James Biden to testify in a closed session, especially regarding allegations that they “used political influence in their business dealings overseas.”

Hunter Biden’s lawyer, Abbe Lowell, announced that his client would accept the committee’s call and answer the committee’s questions on the condition that it be open to the public.

Claiming that the Biden family, partners and companies received more than 24 million dollars from trade using political influence, Comer announced that it was decided that James Biden would testify before the Committee on December 6 and Hunter Biden would testify under oath before the Committee on December 13.

INVESTIGATION INTO THE BIDEN FAMILY

Kevin McCarthy, then Speaker of the House of Representatives, claimed on September 12 that Biden abused his position while he was Vice President and that his son Hunter Biden used his father’s position to gain privileges in business relations.

Republicans in the House of Representatives launched an investigation for Biden’s dismissal, claiming that they found evidence that President Biden’s family members were aware of his domestic and foreign business deals and played a role in these deals.

At the Oversight Committee’s first impeachment hearing, witnesses and some Republicans noted that more evidence was needed to determine whether the President had committed any crime.
