Bank Pekao – failure. Problems logging into internet banking

On Friday afternoon, some customers of Bank Pekao have problems accessing their account via internet banking. There is information about the “technical break” on the login page. Internet users also inform about problems in accessing the application.

On Friday, some of Bank Pekao’s clients cannot get into their account. The “technical break” message appears on the login page of Bank Pekao. “Something went wrong with us. But take it easy, we’re already working on it. We’ll be back in a moment!” – we read.

Internet users inform about problems with logging in to both internet and mobile banking. “@BankPekaoSA during the day ‘you improve the application’ bravo. It’s just like carrying out road repairs during rush hours – nothing more to add (original spelling – ed.)” – we read in one of the entries. “@BankPekaoSA repair your apk because it does not work” – indicated another user.

In response to these entries, representatives of Bank Pekao apologize for the inconvenience. “We are working on solving this situation as soon as possible” – they assure.

The bank’s spokesman Paweł Jurek referred to the difficulties in an interview with the Polish Press Agency. – We have signals that there are cases of login problems, but this is a small scale – he said. He added that the problem may occur in individual cases. “Of course we’re checking it,” said Jurek.
