In the Digital Currency Museum, you can see the 8 exhibition halls of the Currency Museum reproduced with virtual reality (VR) technology in high-definition images.
You can also read an e-book that explains 184 kinds of commemorative currency and an e-book that contains the stories of 29 women in the currency.
BOK also developed a mobile application (app)’BOK Currency Museum’.
In this app, you can view the explanation of the currency museum exhibits in four languages, including Korean, English, Chinese, and Japanese, and you can also experience learning such as’making your own currency’.
The BOK said, “By experiencing the museum online, we will be able to better understand the BOK and currency.”
In fact, the Currency Museum has been closed since December 5 last year to prevent the spread of a novel coronavirus infection (Corona 19).
