Banjarnegara Regent Becomes a Corruption Suspect, Once Wrongly Called Minister Luhut as Minister of Tailors

TRIBUNNEWS.COM, JAKARTA – Regent Banjarnegara, Central Java, Budhi Sarwono appointed by NCP as a suspect in an alleged case corruption related to the procurement of goods and services in the District Government Banjarnegara 2017-2018 fiscal year.

chairman NCP Firli Bahuri said, “After conducting an investigation, we found sufficient preliminary evidence and we escalated it to an investigation. The results of the hard work identified two suspects,” he said at a press conference in Jakarta, Friday (3/8/2021).

Not only the Regent Banjarnegara, NCP also named a private party as well as the regent’s confidant, Kedy Afandi (KA), as a suspect.

This figure is also the regent’s success team in the 2017 regional head election.

Investigator NCP suspected that KA had collected a number of entrepreneurs and submitted a commitment fee request for Budhi.

In fact, Budhi is said to have directly submitted fee requests to entrepreneurs.

Now the two suspects have been detained for the first 20 days starting today, September 3, 2021, until September 22, 2021.

Budhi is being held at the State Detention Center (Rutan) NCP Lots of C1, while KA was detained at Rutan NCP Pomdam Jaya Guntur.

The two suspects are suspected of violating Article 12 letter i and Article 12 B of the Corruption Eradication Act (Tipikor) in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph 1 1 of the Criminal Code.
