The studio of Don’t Nod is once again turning a little more towards the action with its next game, as it has done a few times before. The team’s current project is Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden, which combines a tragic love story with an exciting ghost hunt.
The heroes of the story are Antea Duarte and Red mac Raith, who as a team hunt the demons and spirits of the world. But after an action gone wrong, Antea herself ends up in the afterlife. Red, on the other hand, does not settle for this and starts wildly searching for a way to save his love.
The other day, the developers surprised the fans with a brand new trailer, in addition to a quarter-hour gameplay presentation. This was the presentation that was shown at gamescom, but now the whole world can see it. In the video, we get a taste of the dialogues and of course the fights in which Red and Antea take part together, but with completely different means. Towards the end, we can also witness a boss fight with a fairly large demon.
Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden still looks very promising, it has every chance to be one of the great games of the fall. The premiere will take place on November 7, when it will arrive on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. But you can already pre-order the game in the official store of Focus Entertainment.
