Taskan Ahmed took three wickets for Bangladesh while Shakib and Mustafizur took two wickets each.
Azmatullah Omarazi was Afghanistan’s top scorer with 25 runs.
After taking three wickets, Taskin Ahmed also achieved another career milestone. Taskin became the third bowler to take 50 wickets for Bangladesh in the T20 format. Taskin currently has 52 wickets to his name.

Shakib Al Hasan (140) and Mustafizur Rahman (103) are the other bowlers who have achieved this feat.
In the match which was set a target of 119 runs according to the Duckworth-Lewis-Stern rule, Bangladesh won on the strength of openers Liton Das and Afif Hossain. Das scored 35 runs off 36 balls while Hossain scored 24 runs off 20 balls.
Finally, Bangladesh won by losing only four wickets with five balls to spare.
