In the capital of Bangladesh, Dhaka, there was a powerful explosion that killed at least seven people and injured more than 50. On Monday, June 28, reports Reuters citing Dhaka Police Commissioner Shafikul Islam.
It is noted that the explosion took place on the first floor of a three-story building on a street in the Mogbazar district.
According to Shafikul Islam, the explosion damaged seven more adjacent buildings and three buses.
In the house damaged by the explosion, there was an electronics trading floor, a meat point, a restaurant and a pastry shop. The shops are completely destroyed, leaving only fragments of them.

Local media reported that the explosion could have occurred due to the high concentration of gas in the electronics compartment or at the point of sale.
