Residents of Central Cikarang, Regency Bekasi stirred up by the theft of motorbikes armed with guns. The case is currently being investigated by the police and is being pursued.
Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Bekasi Metro Police, AKBP Aris Timang, admitted that his party did not find any bullet projectiles at that location.
“We looked for it last night, but we haven’t found it. Yes, we will see from the type of weapon, from the projectile what type of weapon,” said the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Metro Police. BekasiAKBP Aris Timang when contacted by detikcom, Saturday (11/6/2022).
Previously, a video showing the theft of motorbikes by armed gangs went viral on social media. The incident took place in Sukaresmi, Central Cikarang, Bekasi Regency.
In the video that has been circulating, it can be seen that the perpetrators amounting to two people riding motorbikes stopped at the location. One of the perpetrators came down and wanted to steal a red and white Honda CRF motorbike.
The suspect then started the motor. However, the victim caught his act, causing the perpetrator to panic.
Immediately, the perpetrator dropped the motorcycle. Then took out a gun and fired at the victim. Bang… bang!!
Aris said there were no casualties in this incident. The perpetrator also failed to steal his motorbike because the victim shouted at him.
