Galatasaray and Bandırmaspor faced each other in the Ziraat Turkish Cup Round of 16 match. After the match, which ended with a 4-2 advantage between the yellow and red teams, Bandırmaspor President Onur Göçmez made statements criticizing the TFF and VAR system.

In the complaint made by Galatasaray, it was underlined that I was the honorary president and that I had no authority, I was constantly described as Beşiktaş Vice President and this complaint reached the institution of our state. “That match was about Bandırmaspor, but this complaint is about Beşiktaş. The notification came to Beşiktaş Club.”
