As TAG24 learned, individual band members have been staying at the luxury hotel The Fontenay since Thursday to prepare for their performance at the Barclays Arena – one of only six concerts worldwide announced for 2024. After Hamburg, the band will travel to London, Seoul and Bogotá.
For days, the music label Warner Music has been working to transform the city into “Linkin Park City.” Messages were spray-painted on the sidewalks. Hidden messages hung on lampposts. In an AI video, a high-rise building in St. Pauli was covered by a huge Linkin Park banner.

There was a persistent rumor that the band would appear as a surprise act at the current Reeperbahn Festival. This has not yet been confirmed.
But fans at least had the opportunity to win last tickets for the concert on Sunday at various locations, such as the Miniatur Wunderland or the Thai Oase karaoke bar.

Fans are still hoping that the band could appear at the Reeperbahn Festival on Saturday evening.
In recent years, the band Muse has caused a surprise here. This year, performances by Ski Aggu and Ennio were announced at short notice.
