Band Sigma releases single It’s Cool and Opens Concert Ticket Sales / Day

Sigmas The new album was made four years ago, step by step revealing our feelings of growth, which does not lack anxiety, disappointment and pain, but also the search for love, sensuality and new ways. These feelings are so important to us even now – at a time when we experience fear, confusion and uncertainty about our future, “says musician Jānis Ozoliņš.

Singles It’s cool made in collaboration with the talented musician Sniedzi Prauliņa, whose ethereal voice is known to the listeners from the songs created for both the solo album Inlays (2017), both for the group Juuk. The song was mixed by sound engineer Harald Stenclav, with whom Sigma has also collaborated on previous albums, but the master was created by Canadian sound engineer Ryan Moore, who also worked for the band Arcade Fire album Funeral.

As before, the latest entry in the band Sigma attaches great importance to the lyrics, both by creating them themselves and by using the poetry of Latvian authors – in this case, Montas Kromas. The single uses one of the most outstanding and beautiful poems of her love, which tells about the passionate kissing of two lovers in a rainy city that awoke in the spring.

The new director Alise Urtāne has created a 360-degree video for the song, in which actors Marija Linarte and Romāns Bargais participated. It is advisable to watch the video with pictures of virtual reality to get the most out of it, or with a mobile device, moving it diametrically around it and thus looking at the whole virtual space.
