Friday 25 March, as part of the program at the Théâtre de la Poste, the Le Royal cinema hosted a burlesque duo from Toulouse in the purest tradition of the café-théâtre. The band (Matthieu), playing the role of a pure American, interprets standards of French and international song, of which he says he does not understand any words. Alternately singer, imitator dancer, he is accompanied on the piano by his friend Bruno, with a twirling wig. The Bands from New York revisit these successes with caustic humour. The Ouveillanais public was not mistaken, no less than four encores were requested and performed by the duettists at the end of this humorous show.
