Bancolombia was recognized as the leading company in the country in terms of responsibility and corporate governance in 2019, according to the list of the corporate reputation monitor, Merco. A year ago this recognition had been for Grupo Nutresa.

Among the 100 companies that stood out most in this regard, there were 23 from Medellín. The rest of the companies were distributed as follows: 41 from Bogotá, 25 of foreign origin and 11 from other cities.
