Bancolombia offers credit for companies to buy vaccines

As an addition to the Resolution 507 of April 19, 2021, Bancolombia has announced that it will have a new credit line to support the financing of the SMEs and companies that they look to buy vaccines and cover the costs of vaccination Against Covid-19 of your workforce.

The credit granted to the interested parties will be for 500,000 million pesos and has the objective of supporting SMEs and companies of any size that accredit the conditions requested by the bank.

They must also comply with the intent form of the National Association of Businessmen of Colombia (Andi). This last entity will be in charge of concentrating the resources for the acquisition of drugs.

Financing has a associated interest rate which is between 20 bps and 100 bps lower than the rate that other types of financing usually have.

There are companies that already have approved quotas to purchase vaccines. But, if not, entities have the opportunity to request this loan through their manager or directly at one of the Bancolombia branches in the country.

Cristina Arrastía, Vice President of Business at Bancolombia, added that they are interested in supporting the sectors that like to join the project, to contribute to the health of Colombians and accelerate the reactivation of the country.

Acquisition tool

The same entity also communicated that a tool is already being implemented so that entrepreneurs have the opportunity to pay for vaccines.

It is possible that National government make a purchase of 2.5 million vaccines, so Andy opened a trust fund Bancolombia to concentrate the resources of interested entrepreneurs there.

With this collection, the national government will be able to acquire the doses and pay for the logistics, distribution and immunization of the citizen.
