The Bank of Chubut reported that As of April 1, automatic debits of loan installments will resume granted to clients.
The entity explained that discounts will be made from the balances of the accounts that have been linked and what will apply only for installments whose expiration date will begin on April 1, 2021.
The measure is in line with a communication from the Central Bank, which establishes a gradual transition for clients who chose to postpone payment of fees in the context of the pandemic.
It is worth remembering that since April 2020 the automatic debiting of loan installments was suspended, in line with Central Bank provisions that empowered those who could not pay to reschedule their installments.
One year after such a situation, the Central by means of a Communication of March 25, 2021 defined that said possibility will no longer be extended. Therefore, the Bank of Chubut resumes the collection of fees from this Thursday, April 1.
Finally, The Chubut entity recalled that those who have difficulties to pay the installments, since November 2020 a line of restructuring of personal loans has been in force, which can be requested online through.
