In order to ensure everyone’s safety, public order and tranquility as New Year approaches, by decree of December 22, 2022, the Prefect of Haute-Loire has implemented several prohibitions.
The prefect of Haute-Loire has just taken preventive measures to ensure that New Year’s Eve takes place in complete safety. Therefore, he forbids:
- the carriage, carrying and use of fireworks, pyrotechnics, firecrackers and flares. This prohibition does not apply to fireworks declared within the regulatory deadlines and fired by pyrotechnicians with a certificate of qualification;
- retail sale of corrosive fuels and takeaway fuels at service stations and other outlets that stock these products. This prohibition does not apply to professionals duly authorized to use these products.
These bans will be in effect from Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at 00:00 until Sunday, January 1, 2023 at 6:00.
